Choose any one of the novels above and answer the question below.

‘Hardship is a part of life’.

Identify a character in the novel that has experienced great hardships. How have the hardships experienced in the story changed the character?

 I -  IDENTIFY WHAT THE QUESTION WANTS.

M -  MAKE A STATEMENT 

 E -  ELABORATE ON THE ANSWERS.

 J -  JUSTIFY THE ELABORATION BY GIVING TEXTUAL EVIDENCE FROM 
        THE NOVEL.

     Make a statement -
                    Make a statement on how have the hardship experienced changed the character 

     Elaborate -

                    Answer the questions - What happened, Whereand When ?

     Justify -   

                   Answer the question - Why do you say so? using the evidence 
                   from the text

The answer should be in the present tense. But if you answered in the past, make sure that all must be in the past tense/time.
